Bob Last year we were in New Mexico. It was a pain breaking down our rods and moving to a new location or back to camp.
When we got home I searched the Internet. No luck. Then my son told me about the River Quiver. I visited him several weeks later and checked it out. I purchased a 4 Banger soon after.
Last week we finally used it, same area of New Mexico. It makes moving so much easier and faster.
After we were down with New Mexico we left the rods in the Quiver, we were supposed to go to the Beartooth Mountains but a June snowstorm hit.
The rod and reels road home. 1000 miles. 75 mph. 15 mph cross winds. Heavy rain. No problems. No shift in location. No damage to the rods or reels. The River Quiver is water proof. It isn't dust proof, no issue.
I plan the get a 2 Banger Shortcut at a later date.

Shannon White Purchased the riversmith T in an xl. Received a large. Called them and they explained to me when an item or size you want is out of stock the system defaults to another size. Return process is so involved and time consuming I just gave the shirt to a fishing buddy of mine. My first and last transaction with riversmith and I hate that.

I am sorry that your Riversmith experience was not a positive one. This review comes as a surprise for several reasons. To start, your original purchase was for a Large T-shirt, and at no point did we state that our 'system defaults to another size'. You are correct, we are currently out of XL T-shirts. Since we are currently out of XL shirts, we reached out with the option to return the shirt at no cost to you, or to keep the large shirt that you ordered. Also, returns with Riversmith are quick and simple. File a return claim through our portal, and it will be reviewed right away. Chip Hilberg Funny that I paid $13.49 for something called “free return shipping” after spending hundreds of dollars on one of your products

I apologize for the frustration. 'Redo' is an optional charge and can be removed from your purchase at any point during the checkout process. This 'free return shipping' is, first and foremost, insurance for damage that may occur in shipping (as well as an added benefit of free return shipping if you choose to return your order). As you said, the River Quiver system is 'hundreds of dollars,' and our Redo Package Protection is the only option we have found to protect our customers from shippers' negligence.
