Supporting Overmountain TU & Blue Ridge Guide Association

Tailwater Roundup March 2024 South Holston Watauga Tailwater

Last month the Overmountain TU chapter, along with the Blue Ridge Guide Association, hosted the 8th annual Bill Beazell & Allen Robbins Memorial Tailwater Roundup.

In effort to help with the fund raising component of this effort, Riversmith donated a River Quiver 2-Banger for the raffle.

"It is great to see Trout Unlimited, the Blue Ridge Guide Association, local businesses and community members come together to help keep these rivers clean. This event couldn't happen without everyone's help," said Ryan Turgeon, the event coordinator.

In total there were over 100+ volunteers and the group was able to remove roughly five tons of trash and debris from this fishery.

"A big thank you to our community sponsors like Riversmith, because of their support our raffle was able to raise funds to help support our conservation efforts," said Alyssa Adcock (Riversmith Ambassador) who participated in the river clean up.
