FAQs

Swiftcast was designed as a universal solution that is adaptable to almost any raft. Learn more about the exact tube configurations for rafts by manufacture HERE.

Swiftcast is designed to protect a single rod. While you may be able to load a second rod, it is likely it one will be damaged as the reel box is designed to only secure one reel. We strongly recommend not carrying two rods in a single Swiftcast. You can, however, mount multiple Swiftcasts onto your raft.

Yes. The tube end cap is designed to be removed, which will allow longer rods to be carried. Please note, however, that the end of the rod will be exposed so do so at your own risk.

Great Solution

My boat came with some rod holders that I didn't love. I bought the Swiftcasts and they were delivered quickly and with all the hardware I needed to mount them.
Highly recommend.

Unbelievable

I just purchased the 3 swiftcast for my raft. I installed 2 stacked on one side and a single on the other. Both face towards the rear of my RMR raft and the fit is unbelievable. The design is amazing and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. This the way to go if you have a fishing raft. Thank you!!!!

just right for the river

The swiftcast rod holders mounted on my Riverboat Works Rio Craft Teton raft are precisely the right thing to protect my rods while rowing with fishing partners on the Colorado River. They protect my rods, make access to the rods a breeze, and they just look so good. Thank you Riversmith, I'm a huge fan.

Swiftcast raft rod carrier cured my problem!

After a couple years of trying to figure out how to best carry rods on a raft, Riversmith solved my problem. I love the material selection and durability. Several times I have had to step on them getting in or out of the raft, and they held up great. Rods were safe and there was no damage at all. I have a 14’ raft with a NRS frame and the mounting was simple. I have 2 running down one side and another with my spare oar running down the other side. I might add another one later, but for now, my problem has been cured!!!

Killer quality and performance!

I installed a Riversmith Swiftcast holder on my AIRE//DRE fishing raft setup and highly recommend it. I have had previous manufactured and homemade rod holders and you just can’t beat the ease of setup, quick install and handiness of adding one of these to your rig. The design also allows for the rod to be safely stowed and kept out of the way when people are stepping around or on and off the boat. Since I take my young boys fishing a lot this definitely added more peace of mind for protecting my equip. Also worth noting they are more aesthetically appealing than pvc tubes! I highly recommend adding 1-2 of these holders! I am stoked to see what’s next for the company!
