The Quick Release mount is fully locking and will work on any crossbar system. I finally did it and got a pair for my 2 banger. Install isn’t really that bad. Just go ahead and loosen the strap extra far so it’s easier to get set up the first time. I noticed I had to make sure the latch is pushed up (open) all the way to get the quick release strap to connect properly. I do like the lower profile and the easy on and off ability. Plus a lock backs it all up.
