Bed Mount Quiver Installation – Ford BoxLink Cleat Adaptation

Tools & Hardware Needed

• Mini Ratchet or 4mm Allen Key if using Riversmith BoxLink hardware.

• Phillips screwdriver or T30 Torx bit (depending on BoxLink screw type)

Note: For added stability when using a 4-Banger River Quiver with a Bed Mount, a third center mount can be installed using a direct-drill method. This optional installation point provides additional support, especially for rough roads.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Remove BoxLink Cleat

• Locate the BoxLink cleat inside your truck bed.

• Using a screwdriver or Torx bit, fully unbolt and remove the cleat from the wall.

• If a tie-down attachment is present on the BoxLink plate, remove it completely.

Step 2: Attach Bed Mount Quiver Bracket

• Align the Riversmith Bed Mount bracket over the BoxLink plate.

• The top center hole on the bracket should align with the smaller oval slot on the BoxLink plate.

• The lower center hole should be centered in the bottom of the T-shaped opening.

• Note: This may differ from the factory orientation, but it’s okay to flip the plate if needed.

• Insert the (4) M6 bolts through the bracket and the BoxLink mounting surface.

• From the back side, place a washer and a nylon lock nut on each bolt.

• The washer helps fill the void in the larger T-shaped opening.

• Evenly tighten the bolts with your wrench and driver.

• Be sure the bracket is snug but not over-tightened.

Step 3: Reinstall BoxLink Cleat

• Position the BoxLink cleat, aligning it with the bracket cutout and original mounting holes.

• Reinstall the cleat using the original BoxLink screws, securing it through the bracket face into the truck wall.

• Tighten until fully secure.

Step 4: Confirm Fit and Torque

• Confirm that both the bracket and the cleat are flush and tight.

• Apply light pressure to the Riversmith mount — it should feel solid and unmoving.

Step 5: Install Truck Bed Mount River Quiver

• Follow the installation instructions provided in the Truck Bed Mount River Quiver Installation Manual to complete the process.
