We aimed to create a simple yet functional fishing pack for use on the river. The PackOut Bag features two water-resistant compartments for storing smaller items like a fly box, tippet spool, and floatant. The adjustable strap allows you to wear it as either a sling pack or hip pack, depending on your preference.

To enhance its functionality, we integrated a removable, machine-washable trash bag, perfect for picking up litter after a day on the raft, boat, or at the campsite. In addition to being worn as a hip or sling pack, the PackOut Bag can be attached to raft frames, car seats, and more, making it versatile for any situation.

Great little bag

The pack-out bag is a great little bag for those days you know you’ll just fish a few flies. I find it great for dry fly days when you need a box of flies, floatant and a rain jacket. The deployable bag makes it easy to pick up any trash you may find on the water.

Leave No Trace!

Wow. Blown away by the ingenuity of this. As anglers, it's important to practice good stewardship of the land/rivers/water that we recreate on. It's great having this on me while fishing so I can clean up after the folks that leave trash or for my empties. Plus it has extra space so I can toss more fly boxes in. It's a win win.

River stewardship meets versatility

As a fishing guide this pack has so many uses, I love the drop bag, which is so easy to clean, and a great way to stash river rubbish. I can attach it to so many places on either my raft or drift boat or right to the side of my boat bag. If I’m not utilizing the drop bag feature it’s an amazing minimalist sling pack or hip pack. Its a great pack for a short trip to the river when I don’t need to carry much or if I’m floating and want to wade away from the boat, I can load a small fly box, clip a tippet spool to it and go!
