Standard Mount Specs


Mount Time: 15-25 Minutes

Added Total Height (including River Quiver Extrusions): 5”

Crossbars thicker than 1.5” require Extended Bolts (Sold Separately)

Crossbars that sit lower than average; < 1.5" from top of crossbar to top of roof may require Shorter Bolts (Sold Separately) - Common on earlier generation 4Runner and CRV.

Can be Secured with Locking Bolts (Sold Separately)

*The included T-Track Hardware is 18mm Square, standard for most Yakima, Thule and similar platforms. Racks that utilize T-Track that is not 18mm square will require additional hardware not included and to be sourced directly from the rack manufacturer.

  • Reel Box Up Mounting on Toyota 4Runners with factory or more traditional aftermarket racks (Yakima, Thule, etc).
  • End users who prefer the added security of a key locking mount.
  • Larger than average Vehicle Crossbar Systems. The rubberized stainless steel strap is highly adjustable and works with the most extreme range of bar shapes and thicknesses.

Drilling Requirements

Drilling is required for trucks without factory cargo rails or Ford BoxLink plates.

Ford BoxLink Compatibility

The Truck Bed Mount River Quiver adapts to Ford BoxLink cleats using four M6-100×14 bolts, washers, and nylon lock nuts (hardware sold separately).

This setup eliminates the need for drilling on Ford pickups for:

  • The 2-Banger Truck Bed Mount

  • Two of the three mounts on the 4-Banger Truck Bed Mount

Ford BoxLink plates not included.

  • Mid size and full size pickup trucks with standard bed rails.
  • Anglers who want to keep their River Quiver inside the truck bed and out of the elements.
  • Low profile mounting that maintains a clean, factory look.
  • Frequent loading and unloading of rods without using a roof rack.

The Standard Mount is our original mounting option for River Quiver fly rod holders. The Standard Mount Bracket keeps your River Quiver fly rod holder attached to your rack. If you’ve found one to be damaged in any way make sure to get a replacement so that you don’t launch your River Quiver like a javelin during a quick stop.

This kit includes one complete mounting bracket. 2-Banger River Quivers require 2 brackets, 4-Banger River Quivers require 4 brackets total.
