Got to try out the Short Cut River Quiver fly fishing our way through Massachusetts and Vermont this past week . This is a great set up and I'm anxious to put it into use again in a couple weeks in northern Michigan . Great product , would highly recommend!

I take my 4 banger off the truck every trip, so I end up putting it on solo ~40 times a season. I've got the process down to a simple no-hassle few minute exercise to get it installed. The secret is to LOOSEN the straps a ton before you take it off the vehicle. This way when you mount it again, the straps lock and connect easily without any hassle. Then I use a drill w/bit to quickly tighten the straps and a ratchet w/bit to finish the tightening. For a while I was leaving the straps tightened and it was a total PIA to install the thing.

Love my 2 banger...stopped by the store and got great tips for mounting the new quick release bracket. Took me a few tries to get the strap to settle into its slot, but after I figured that out the rest was simple. I've been through a car wash and the River Quiver is not going anywhere. It is on there for the season...and I love it!

Easy to install, putting two rods back together when I get to my spots takes about a minute.

As much as I travel, 60 countries in 15 years, it is amazing to me that is has taken this long for a thoughtful piece of travel equipment for rods/reels and other essentials to arrive on the market. More so that it is a roof rack company that brought this to market.

If someone were to want to travel light, be able to organzie everything for a trip to the tropics or summer trip into a single piece of luggage that can be carried on or checked, this is absolutely it.

Everyone else in our space has pretty much slightly modified what has been out there for the past 20+ years and put their tiny spin on it. This one actually can do all they can but also allow for some spare clothing, fly box, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain jacket and essentials.

Finally it is rugged enough to not worry about it being checked.

Done, done and done...just go get one!

This is the solution I was looking for to keep my equipment together and secure. No more carrying multiple bags, and often leaving something behind. This is so well made, and surprisingly easy to carry, considering how much gear is in it. Ladies, this works for US!
