Take a few minutes on the river with Riversmith Ambassador Matt Hartman of @TheNorthernAnglerFlyShop as he weighs in on the Swiftcast Rod Holder for fly fishing rafts after using the product for a year.
"I've been using the Swiftcast system now for a year. I've taken it smallmouth fishing, I've taken it trout fishing, I've taken it pike fishing, I've taken it on a three-day muskie expedition, being towed behind another boat upstream, and just abused," said Hartman, who rows a Smithfly Big Shoals raft as a Professional Fly Fishing Guide based out of Traverse City, Michigan.
Real People. Real Products. Real Fishing Experience.
"This thing is friendly. I've lent my boat out to friends and never explained to them how to use this system, and they came back and said, 'this thing is awesome'. I think if you're an angler that's looking for a way to store and protect your rods in a raft, you should look at the Swiftcast system," said Hartman. "I've been nothing but happy with this setup. It's friendly, it's adaptable, and it's durable."
