Great bag, well constructed

Great travel bag. Haven’t used it for travel yet but seems like a solid option for any trip. I can easy pack away my 9 foot 5 weight but unfortunately too small for my Spey rod. Love the pocket options, plenty of them to choose from. Overall, a worthy investment.

Perfect for the destination trip

This pack is absolutely perfect for the destination trip. I just used it on a pike trip up to Canada. Fit two 9WTs, reel and 3 additional spools, big streamer fly box, gopro and accessories, rocky talkies, and a bunch of other gear with room to spare. Side pockets were perfect for other travel items; passport, headphones, wallet, phone, snacks. Would buy this again!

The pack won't fit under a seat but fits with ease in the overhead bin. I didn't have any issues with the gate agents bringing it on a United flight. It does take up a good bit of room (it only fits sideways) so if you board towards the end, it might be challenging to find a space for it.

Amazingly Thoughtful

As much as I travel, 60 countries in 15 years, it is amazing to me that is has taken this long for a thoughtful piece of travel equipment for rods/reels and other essentials to arrive on the market. More so that it is a roof rack company that brought this to market.

If someone were to want to travel light, be able to organzie everything for a trip to the tropics or summer trip into a single piece of luggage that can be carried on or checked, this is absolutely it.

Everyone else in our space has pretty much slightly modified what has been out there for the past 20+ years and put their tiny spin on it. This one actually can do all they can but also allow for some spare clothing, fly box, sunglasses, sunscreen, rain jacket and essentials.

Finally it is rugged enough to not worry about it being checked.

Done, done and done...just go get one!
