Paula Shearer

Paula Shearer is an experienced fly fishing angler and a guide on the Bow River and Southern Alberta Streams. She started fly fishing at a young age and by her late teens she was hooked on fishing the Bow. It was from that point where her true passion for the sport took over. Since then she has spent most of her days on the banks and drifting this world-renowned river. She enjoys sharing her love for fly fishing by mentoring and teaching those who are new to the sport.

Paula has had the privilege of hosting and co-hosting ‘Fly Nation’, In the Loop, and Fly Fusion TV, which air on WFN. She has also been a part of a number of other fly fishing films. She has been fortunate enough to have some of her photos and articles published in magazines. Paula is a proud ambassador of SIMMS, RIO Products, Hatch Outdoors, G.Loomis Rods, Yellow Dog Fly Fishing Adventures, Clackacraft Drift Boats, Tacky Fly Fishing, Water Master Boats and Riversmith's River Quiver line of pro grade rooftop fly rod carriers.
