This custom design allows you to install, lock/unlock, and remove the River Quiver from your vehicle at any given time in seconds. The Quick Release mount is fully locking and will work on any crossbar system. These Quick Release Mounts are modified versions of Küat® quick release mounts designed by Küat® for use with their ski and kayak racks.

If you need to take your river quiver on and off, these make life much easier. A little effort needed to fully open the levers, but other than that I really like the design.

The easy way to go!
The Quick release mounts are the easiest way to go!
I plan on taking my 4 Bangers off for the winter, so this set up was the way to go for me.

Quick release- not that quick!
Okay, admittedly we're in the 60+ category but these mounts are a bear to figure out! First our short cut arrived with the old mounts in place- had to call Riversmith to clarify how to remove those. And then the straps were super difficult to latch. Took us hours! So if you don't need to take your quiver off, get the standard ones.

Because the unit can only be tightened by turning some of the four units could not be tightened enough to stay in position, which is not totally necessary, but I’m a little uncomfortable with a loose , unit .
