Because the unit can only be tightened by turning some of the four units could not be tightened enough to stay in position, which is not totally necessary, but I’m a little uncomfortable with a loose , unit .

4bangor quick release
The “flip up mechanism is too close to the bottom of the rod rack and is very difficult to open all the way. Had to pay someone to add a 3/16 piece of heavy nylon over the bolts so I could unlatch it. Pivot does not matter because the “spin” of the quick release model is based on the “luck of the spin” off the bolt and 3 of mine face away from the driver side. I am a 5’3 66 yo female. Not a good design at all. I was told that “brain memory” will help me find the key slot….how do I lengthen my arm to reach it? Quite disappointed…and the price!

We’re sorry to hear you’ve had some trouble with your Quick Release Mount. The “flip-up mechanism” you mentioned is specifically designed with safety and security in mind. That said, we understand that some of the additional safety features can feel unnecessary or a bit confusing at first.
Our installation guide (available on our website), along with the Quick Release Mount Overview video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ci4OnUEiKEE), walks through the proper order of operations to ensure the mount is positioned and secured correctly. Please note that no aftermarket or homemade components are needed for the Quick Release Mount to function as intended.

Easy to use!
If you need to take your river quiver on and off, these make life much easier. A little effort needed to fully open the levers, but other than that I really like the design.
