The travel pack is my go to pack! Nick turned me onto these packs and I must say they are my go to now! The travel pack is my favorite of the line traveling I have fit a half a dozen rods and reels along with enough clothing for a two to three night trip. When the rivers are frozen shut and skiing is the only game in town the Convoy Travel pack holds not only fishing products but all the equipment needed for a day on the ski slopes. From ski boots, coats, gloves, socks and everything else in between . Pack it on your back leaving hands free to carry your skis . This pack does it all with great thought in design and great craftsmanship. It absolutely is an excellent product.

Everything is designed well. I was looking for a carry-on bag that would carry rods, reels and was also big enough to carry some clothes. That way if my main luggage was lost, I could make a trip still work out. The only concern is the size of the pack sometimes triggers an airline to reject it as a carry-on too often. To be fair, it's a tough needle to thread...big enough to carry what you need if your main luggage is lost but small enough to cut it as a carry-on. Riversmith has come the closest to getting it done. Only change I recommend would make it a little less wide so it is even more likely to pass as a carry-on.

Strong durable case can fit all my 9ft 4piece rods but none of my 7ft6 rods fit in this travel case sadly.
