Wow wish I’d gotten this ShortCut years ago! Once you get it set up, it’s a breeze to take on/ off your vehicle.
I went with the shortcut vs the full length carrier because of length of my car is shorter (the other holder would’ve been almost as long as my crosstrek) Before I order I’d was worried about breaking my rod in half to fit it in the carrier. This isn’t an issue at all. The Rod Chairs also help hold everything in place & don't let anything rattle around.
I had a few questions before I order and the staff at RiverSmith were great at getting all of my questions answered. I went with the 4 banger with quick release system after talking to them. I can’t say enough good things about it.
Just do yourself a favor and order one too. You won’t be sorry about it.

This case meets every need for a person traveling not only by plane but also for keeping your gear and rods safe when packed in your vehicle. The room this case has far exceeds prior travel cases I’ve used allowing for clothing and accessories to be carried.

Installed the Euro Quiver with quick release mounts on my 2-door Jeep Rubicon. Excellent instructions, and everything fit together as advertised. It is a bit heavy, so had to put the front roof rack on the removeable panels or else the balance was off. Even on my 2-door Jeep though, the long euro quiver isnt too long and my rods are riding in comfort!

The shortcut has been great. It fit right into my standard Tacoma TRD Sport bed with ample clearance. It has saved me loads of anxiety about my rods getting undue wear and tear while moving between spots and cuts down on my truck-to-river prep time when arriving at my fishing destination. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone in the market for a protective device for transporting your beloved fly rods/reels. Plus the customer service as RiverSmith is top notch.

Works great on my bed cover! I use my truck for many different activities and the quick release allows me to rig up or rig down in just a minute or 2. Wish I had bought them sooner!

I was tired of the rack on my Tacoma. The shortcut comes through perfectly.

This is a very nice baseball cap. It looks to be of very good quality and will probably last a long time. I gave it to my son since flat bills look better on younger folks. It looks great on him, a new US Army Ranger.

The short river quiver works really well inside my truck bed and is hidden from plain sight.

Easy to mount and adjust on the frame and keep inside the boat. I am sure I will have to tweak a few time's. Appear to be high quality and hopefully very durable.

Changed to the quick release mount on my 4 banger. I was mainly going for a lower profile, but amazed and excited about the rock solid attachment and the looks of the finished installation.

I bought a used Quiver and needed to add these as the previous owner did not. Just again a little extra piece of mind and keeps things secure.

I have been using these since I pretty much started using the River Quivers. I only use them on longer trips and when I know I will be on roads that could cause problems (rough and bumpy), but they do just give me a little extra piece of mind that everything is secure and protected. Cool product!

Was fortunate to get the 10'4" River Quiver for Christmas last year. I can't wait to get out on the water again! It's pretty straight forward to install - YouTube video is available if you need help. Was so glad we reached out to discuss it before the purchase. Didn't think about the longer bolts needed. I told the rep I was installing in on a Yakima rack and he reminded me I needed extended bolts. Great catch!! Definitely recommend the mini ratchet as well. One of my fishing buddies has a 4 banger and loves it, which drove me to ask Santa for one last year! No regrets, a must have for hitting the water.

These rod tubes are great. Durable, convenient, easy to clean and maintain. Get the quick release mounts if you switch vehicles often… Game Changer… my 4 banger and 2 banger have held up extremely well and the lock and buttons are still in great shape!
