This is the best rod carrier on the market and these guys truly stand behind their product! If there are any issues they will send you a new one no questions! Highly recommend!
Poorly made, didn't fit with rod sleeve one and placement into a half quiver. First use already broke one. Maybe only made to be used with no rod sleeve and a full quiver.
Hi Alexander, we’re sorry the rod chairs didn’t fit your setup and that one broke on its first use. That’s not the quality or experience we want you to have. Please contact us with your order details so we can look into this and help.Hi Alexander, sorry one broke on its first use. That’s frustrating, and we’d like to make it right.
On fit, Rod Chairs are made for folding a fully rigged rod in half to go into a ShortCut, so that setup is what they’re built for.
They’re meant to be used instead of a rod sleeve, not with one, since Rod Chairs and Rig Wraps are an either/or choice. This short video shows the fold start to finish: https://youtu.be/r0fPOyGl6m4. We’ll send you a free replacement Rod Chair, and if a sleeve suits your setup better, we’ll include correctly sized Rig Wraps for your ShortCut at no charge. Reply to this message with a photo of the one that broke and a shipping address, and we’ll get them out to you.

Great customer support got me going again after I managed to lose my keys.
My nightmare is over.
Replacement locks work great. Quick response. I am very pleased with the 2 short 2 bangers quick release set ups.
I am happy with my purchase. Makes getting to the stream quicker and my gear is secure.
Great product
I’d recommend to anyone looking for a solid well built multi fly rod case. Also like the case is lockable and that the quick release tie downs are lockable
Good instruction videos provided and were very helpful. I would advise that this product does take time and patience to assemble and install. Suggest that you leave room under the tie down bars to have access to the quick release mounts
Converted a 2 banger into a pair of shortcuts and needed a new set of mounts. Got them installed and mounted 2nd short cut on truck.
The 4 banger is perfect for carrying my rods on my Tacoma. Great solution for not wasting time in the bitter cold for steelhead fishing. Two suggestions to make the experience better. The quick release needs to be able to be put on and off without the need to loosen the rocker screws. Also the padding inside for the reels should come installed. I’m sure u guys could do a better job positioning the pads.
These are the prefect rod savers in my rods in my rod tube. I have used the rod chairs for years and these are a much needed improvement.
I am surprised that the truck bed mount for the 4 banger river quiver isnt long enough to attach to both t slots. I think that would be a stronger set up. Otherwise, I think it is great.
I am thoroughly impressed by Riversmith’s customer service and the quality of this product. They helped me out with the installation process over the weekend which was awesome. This is a must have for anyone who goes fishing frequently! Great company!
Got them, use them, like them. They’re loaded as I write this.👍
The rod wraps are perfect. I have a substantial amount invested in the equipment I have purchased and I want to protect my fly rods as much as possible. I like that I can take my fully rigged rod to the stream and not snag on every tree and bush I come across. These work great, fit all my rods and perform perfectly!
Great product / excellent quality and detailing- use it in my Ninja for day trips - very roomy and loads of capacity
Love the new lock system. So much better and beefier than the previous version. I wasn't sure about the auto lock, but after using it it's the only way to go!
love the pads , really wish they had a tarpon or redfish scale pattern ..
but these will do NICELY until then
absolute tank of a unit !! very well built and is by far the best fly rod storage on the market . I am glad I did my homework before finally deciding on RiverSmith ..
they are a phenomenal company, amazing to work with .. and Customer service is top tier ...
gonna be purchasing a waterproof bag from them next 😁
Great product. Install got a little interesting with my Rough Country hard cover already installed. But it went well, and now my rods are doubly protected. Big plus to have the rods ready when I get to the stream.
amazing company and top quality product ... I have never owned a rod case this well built matter of fact even remotely close to this one ..
owners are great to work with ...
I am Proud to be a part of the team ..
if only they sold a tarpon or redfish wrap for them
Perfect fit for my 1500 GMC.
Made first trip more efficient. Highly recommend this product.
Thank you for coming out with the truck bed quiver. Great idea without the large overhead rack for my pick up..
