Protect What's Important
Riversmith was proud to support the 12th Annual Dinner & Awards ceremony for Bonefish & Tarpon Trust (BTT).
“Riversmith's generous support of BTT's 12th Annual NYC Dinner & Awards Ceremony will enable BTT to advance its efforts to improve water quality in the Everglades and throughout the state of Florida, from Rookery Bay to the Indian River Lagoon and Biscayne Bay," said Andrea Sturgis, Bonefish & Tarpon Trust.
"Riversmith's support will also benefit BTT's habitat conservation and restoration programs. This includes protecting and restoring vital mangrove habitat in The Bahamas and working to conserve essential flat habitat in Belize. BTT is also working to restore essential juvenile tarpon and snook habitats throughout Southwest Florida. All of this is vital to ensure effective management of the flats fishery to support its long-term health and sustainability.”
Supporting BTT
To help with their future efforts, Riversmith donated two River Quiver 2-Bangers for auction to help raise funds to support BTT’s overall mission. Bonefish & Tarpon Trust’s mission is to conserve and restore bonefish, tarpon and permit fisheries and habitats through research, stewardship, education and advocacy.
